Marketing Manager

Status: Employed

Hours: Minimum 24 hours per week

Location: Mix of Winchester office and remote working

Salary: £30-45k FTE depending on experience

Overview:

Waypoint is looking for an experienced digital marketing and account manager capable of working as an all-rounder across all areas of the marketing mix.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked as a marketer for at least 10 years, either on the agency or client side, who is now living in or within a 45 minute commute of Winchester and looking to continue their marketing career.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable talking to customers and familiar with the digital marketing world.

The ideal candidate will have some if not all the skills and capabilities listed below.

General:

  • Enjoy managing accounts, talking to customers and running multi-dimensional projects through third-parties

  • Have experience with taking a brief and producing a marketing plan to deliver results

  • Be comfortable and at home in the digital marketing world

  • Have a creative flair and enjoy coming up with visual ideas for campaigns, landing pages and advertisements

Online:

  • Have experience in setting up and/or running PPC advertising campaigns - both search and social

  • Be a user of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms

  • Be familiar with Google Analytics, Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager

  • Have created email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp

  • Have a good working knowledge of WordPress, Squarespace and other CMS platforms

Graphics:

  • Be able to create and amend images and documents on Adobe Acrobat, InDesign and/or Illustrator and PowerPoint

Copywriting:

  • Be comfortable with the written word

  • Write social media posts

  • Edit blogs, case studies, and ebooks

  • Use Word and Excel
